The establishment of superlow friction in moist air is very important for the engineering application of hydrogenated diamond-like carbon (H-DLC) films. Nevertheless, water molecules in the surrounding atmosphere always result in the failure of the near-frictionless state. This work aims to explore the effects of water molecules in the environment and the material of the counterparts on the tribological performance of a composite structure prepared by depositing MoS2 on a H-DLC film. The results indicated that the existence of water molecules in the atmosphere is beneficial for achieving stable superlubricity for the material system because it helps retain the in-situ formed MoS2 transfer film on the counterpart. In the presence of water molecules, the wear interface was replaced by a robust and incommensurate MoS2 tribolayer/H-DLC sliding interface, which was responsible for the superlow friction achieved in this work. The results also revealed that the ZrO2 counterpart was capable of retaining the as-formed MoS2 transfer film and establishing long-lasting superlow friction even in dry air. The mechanisms behind this phenomenon are also discussed in this paper.  相似文献

Terahertz (THz) imaging is expected to become powerful tools for non-destructive inspections. To ensure the practical use of THz non-destructive monitoring, versatile THz imagers with adjustable designs that can eliminate the complexities and the bulkiness of the device are urgently required. Herein, a self-aligned filtration process for a 2D, free-standing carbon nanotube film array and its application to a THz video camera patch are reported. The presented techniques enable a) to freely design the camera size, sensor array pattern, and suspended shape according to its applications, b) to cut the camera patch into desired shapes, and c) to attach them to the objects that are intended to be measured. Real-time, non-destructive monitoring of various infrastructures is demonstrated. These results indicate that it can function regardless of restrictions, such as the shapes and locations of the measurement samples, thus providing a strong possibility for use in future non-destructive sensor networks.  相似文献

Microbiologically influenced corrosion induced by bacteria has been studied for many years. Corrosion is known to be sensitive to the presence of microalgae, such as Phaeodactylum tricornutum. However, the life activity of P. tricornutum that influences the general and localized corrosion of carbon steel is not fully understood. The current study uses a combination of immersion tests and electrochemical experiments with a detailed surface characterization to reveal the naturally formed corrosion products with/without the presence of P. tricornutum. The results show that samples suffer from pitting corrosion and the averaged pit depths are approximately 15 μm under a light–dark cycle condition or a 24-h constant light condition. Meanwhile, the corrosion products are mainly comprised of γ-FeOOH and Fe3O4 in a constant light condition. However, γ-FeOOH, Fe3O4, and FeCO3 are found in a light–dark cycle. This study proposes the fundamental mechanisms of the effect of P. tricornutum life activities on the corrosion performance of Q235 carbon steel, to fulfill the knowledge gaps of the presence of microalgae inducing the general and pitting corrosion of carbon steel.  相似文献

In the context of the high-level radioactive waste disposal CIGEO, the corrosion rate due to microbially influenced corrosion (MIC) has to be evaluated. In France, it is envisaged to dispose of high- and intermediate-level long-lived radioactive waste at a depth of 500 m in a deep geological disposal, drilled in the Callovo-Oxfordian claystone (Cox) formation. To do so, a carbon steel casing will be inserted inside disposal cells, which are horizontal tunnels drilled in the Cox. A specific cement grout will be injected between the carbon steel casing and the claystone. A study was conducted to evaluate the possibility of MIC on carbon steel in the foreseeable high radioactive waste disposal. The corrosiveness of various environments was investigated at 50°C and 80°C with or without microorganisms enriched from samples of Andra's underground research laboratory. The monitoring of corrosion during the experiments was ensured using gravimetric method and real-time corrosion monitoring using sensors based on the measurements of the electrical resistance. The corrosion data were completed with microbiological analyses including cultural and molecular characterizations.  相似文献

Phosphate ester was investigated as a corrosion inhibitor for AISI 1018 carbon steel in carbon dioxide-saturated chloride solutions at different temperatures and pressures. The corrosion tests were realized by electrochemical techniques, weight loss measurements, bubble tests, and a high-pressure/high-temperature autoclave system. The corrosion tests demonstrated that the investigated molecule is an excellent corrosion inhibitor. The inhibiting effect is even bigger at high pressure and temperature than at atmospheric pressure and room temperature. The thermodynamic parameters were calculated and determined to obey the Langmuir isotherm. Polarization studies revealed that the evaluated inhibitor is a mixed type.  相似文献

Mass transfer parameters are necessary for the design of absorption and desorption processes in packed columns. To determine the effective interfacial area and liquid side mass transfer parameters, CO2 absorption and desorption are frequently used. Reliable analytics for concentration determination are essential to obtain correct results. In this work two methods of CO2 liquid phase analysis are compared: first, the back titration of unreacted NaOH after prior precipitation of the bound CO2; secondly, the inorganic carbon analysis with a commercial inorganic carbon analyzer.  相似文献

This paper presents the results of fire resistance tests on carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) strengthened concrete flexural members, i.e., T-beams and slabs. The strengthened members were protected with fire insulation and tested under the combined effects of thermal and structural loading. The variables considered in the tests include the applied load level, extent of strengthening, and thickness of the fire insulation applied to the beams and slabs. Furthermore, a previously developed numerical model was validated against the data generated from the fire tests; subsequently, it was utilized to undertake a case study. Results from fire tests and numerical studies indicate that owing to the protection provided by the fire insulation, the insulated CFRP-strengthened beams and slabs can withstand four and three hours of standard fire exposure, respectively, under service load conditions. The insulation layer impedes the temperature rise in the member; therefore, the CFRP–concrete composite action remains active for a longer duration and the steel reinforcement temperature remains below 400°C, which in turn enhances the capacity of the beams and slabs.  相似文献

In this paper, dopamine hydrochloride (DPH) is introduced to synthesize ZIF-8@ZIF-67@DPH in the preparation of ZIF-8@ZIF-67. ZnSe/CoSe/NCDPH (N-doped carbon) composites are calcined in a high-temperature inert atmosphere with ZIF-8@ZIF-67@DPH as the precursor, selenium powder as the selenium source. ZnSe/CoSe/NCDPH has high discharge specific capacity, good cycle stability and outstanding rate performance. The first discharge capacity of ZnSe/CoSe/NCDPH is 1616.6 mAh g−1 at the current density of 0.1 A g−1, and the reversible capacity remains at 1214.2 mAh g−1 after 100 cycles, the reversible capacity is 416.7 mAh g−1 after 1000 cycles at 1 A g−1. Therefore, ZnSe/CoSe/NCDPH composites provide a new step for the research and synthesis of new stable, high-capacity, and safe high-performance lithium ion batteries. The bimetallic selenide composites not only have bimetallic active sites, but also can form synergistic effect between different metal phases, which can effectively reduce the capacity attenuation caused by volume expansion and reactive stress enrichment during lithium storage of metal oxide anode materials. Meanwhile, N-doped carbon can improve the conductivity and provide more active sites to store lithium, thus improving its lithium storage capacity.  相似文献

L-lactic acid is an important organic acid widely used in pharmaceutical, food and textile industries. Bacillus coagulans BCS13002 can efficiently produce L-lactic acid with two kinds of carbon sources. BCS13002 produced L-lactic acid at a content of 10.23 ± 0.16 g/L and 11.67 ± 0.22 g/L, when glucose and gelatinised and hydrolysed corn starch (GHCS) were used, respectively. GHCS exhibits several advantages, including high yield of L-lactic acid and low cost. Proteomics analyses identified several key enzymes, which contributed to the higher production of L-lactic acid when GHCS was used as the carbon source. Those key enzymes were involved in the two-component system (SpoOF), pantothenate and CoA biosynthesis (pantothenate synthetase, 1.584-fold; dihydroxy-acid dehydratase, 1.517-fold), beta-alanine metabolism (1.605-fold) and valine, leucine and isoleucine biosynthesis (1.517-fold) pathways. This study provides a biological basis for using GHCS as a substitute of glucose in the production of L-lactic acid.  相似文献

Hydrolytic dehydrogenation of ammonia borane (AB) driven by efficient catalysts has attracted considerable attention and is regarded as a promising strategy for hydrogen generation. Herein, RuP2 quantum dots supported on graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3N4) were successfully prepared by in-situ phosphorization, yielding a highly efficient photocatalyst toward AB hydrolysis. The catalysts were characterized by field-emission scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, x-ray diffraction, x-ray photoelectron microscopy, inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy, UV–visible diffuse reflectance spectroscopy and photoluminescence spectroscopy. A conventional water-displacement method was employed to record the hydrogen volume as a function of reaction time. Owing to visible-light irradiation, the initial turnover frequency of the AB hydrolysis was significantly enhanced by 110% (i.e., 134 min?1) at room temperature. Furthermore, the apparent activation energy decreased from 67.7 ± 0.9 to 47.6 ± 1.0 kJ mol?1. The photocatalytic hydrolysis mechanism and catalyst reusability were also investigated.  相似文献
